West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside ripped by Hurricane

January 3, 2024: Belle, WV 25015

The Hurricane Redskins basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Riverside Warriors to 34 in the Redskins league triumph on Wednesday.

The Redskins now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkersburg for a Mountain State contest on Thursday, January 4. Hurricane will battle a Big Reds team coming off a 76-44 league win over Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 7-2.

The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons enter the Mountain State contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, St. Albans triumphed over Capital (Charleston, WV), 89-30, in a league contest.
