Georgia High School Basketball - Emanuel County Institute bested by Bryan County
January 3, 2025: Twin City, GA 30471 Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), 66-51 in a league match.
With the victory, Bryan County advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Redskins travel to Jenkins County (Millen, GA) to meet the War Eagles in a A D2 Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 7. The War Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-7. Jenkins County won 54-51 in their recent league match against Screven County (Sylvania, GA)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portal for a A D2 Region 3 match on Saturday, January 4. Emanuel County Institute will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-7.
