California High School Basketball - Centennial overwhelms Independence

The Centennial Golden Hawks basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Independence Falcons to 47 in the Golden Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Hawks now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Sanger for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Centennial will confront a Apaches team coming off a 62-33 non-league win over Lemoore (Lemoore, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Independence falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Roosevelt (Fresno, CA) to confront the Rough Riders in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Rough Riders go into the game with a record of 8-7. Roosevelt lost 67-56 in their recent non-league game against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA)
