January 3, 2025: Greenville, AL 36037 The Fort Dale Academy Eagles (Greenville, AL) basketball edged the visiting Lowndes Academy Rebels (Lowndesboro, AL), 37-34 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy for a AISA AA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Fort Dale Academy will play a Lions team coming off a 71-59 league loss to Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Lions record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Lowndes Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL) to play the Colts in a AISA AA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Hooper Academy won 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL)
