The Pelion Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Swansea Tigers to 34 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Columbia for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Pelion will play a Capitals team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA). The Capitals record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Swansea falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Tigers host Keenan (Columbia, SC) to play the Raiders in a AAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 5-7.
