The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) and the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), observed Pilot Point's basketball team overcome Valley View by a margin of 57-42.

The Bearcats (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A Region II District 10 challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Paradise defeated Ponder (Ponder, TX), 37-24, in a league challenge.
