The Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the host Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), 63-33 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 21-4 record. They play next when they host Foster for a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Alief Taylor will play a Falcons team coming off a 68-47 league loss to Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Alief Hastings falls to 16-7 on the campaign. The Bears host St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7.
