The Lions now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Linden-Kildare for a 2A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Big Sandy falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX) to play the Hawks in a 2A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 15-1.
