In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lancaster Legends basketball team scored a big 55-34 win over the Nichols Vikings.

The Legends (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY). The Spartans come into the Section 6 Erie County I contest with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Sacred Heart Academy Sharks (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin contest, on Saturday, January 4. Nichols will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Sharks come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 60-23 non-league win over Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY).
