With the victory, Leake Academy advances its record to 23-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS) to meet the Crusaders in a MAIS 5A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 7-10. Park Place Christian Academy lost 55-31 in their recent league battle against Lamar (Meridian, MS)
The Cougars now own a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rankin Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Simpson Academy will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 21-2.
