The Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) basketball crushed the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), 84-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Troup County for a AAA Region 2 bout on Saturday, January 4. Sandy Creek will play a Tigers team coming off a 52-36 non-league loss to Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, McIntosh falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Northgate (Newnan, GA) to play the Vikings in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 7.
