January 3, 2025: Velma, OK 73491 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) and the visiting Ringling Blue Devils (Ringling, OK), observed Velma-Alma's basketball team overwhelm Ringling by a score of 55-30.
The Comets (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Marlow, OK). The Bronchos come into the Oilfield challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Central trounced Rush Springs (Rush Springs, OK), 52-44, in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 72-12 non-league win over Temple (Temple, OK).
