January 30, 2023: Alden, MN 56009 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars (Granada, MN) and the host Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN), saw Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman's basketball squad wallop Alden-Conger by a tally of 70-45.
With the victory, Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Madelia (Madelia, MN) to play the Blackhawks in a A Section 2 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Madelia lost 97-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN)
Next up, the Knights play the Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Alden-Conger will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 61-56 non-league win over Luverne (Luverne, MN).
