New Jersey High School Basketball - Cresskill thwarts Bergen Charter
January 30, 2023: Hackensack, NJ The Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ), 70-61 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Emerson (Emerson, NJ). The Cavaliers go into the Northwest Jersey - Patriot B test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Emerson notched a victory over Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ), 63-61, in a league test.
The now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Park Ridge for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Bergen Charter will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 77-64 league win over Waldwick/Midland Park (Waldwick, NJ). The Owls record now stands at 12-3.
