In Monday's league outing, the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), by a count of 79-38.

The Golden Tornadoes (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights go into the 2A Conference 7 outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, West Bladen smashed East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 54-52, in a league outing.
