California High School Basketball - USC-MAE ripped by Downtown Magnets

January 30, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90012

The Downtown Magnets Suns basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting USC-MAE Trojans to 38 in the Suns league triumph on Monday.

The Suns now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Annenberg for a Freeway contest on Wednesday, February 1. Downtown Magnets will face a Panthers team coming off a 67-53 league win over Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.

With the defeat, USC-MAE moves to 6-8 on the year. The Trojans host Animo Bunche (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Stallions in a Freeway match on Friday, February 3. The Stallions enter the match with a record of 1-14. Animo Bunche lost 45-36 in their recent league match against Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA)
