The Downtown Magnets Suns basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Contreras Cobras to 28 in the Suns non-league victory on Thursday.

The Suns now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aspire Ollin for a Freeway contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Cobras (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Bobcats come into the Central contest with a 1-2 record.
