California High School Basketball - Los Angeles Leadership Academy falls to Downtown Magnets

January 4, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90012

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Downtown Magnets Suns basketball team scored a good 66-58 triumph over the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions.

In their next game, the Suns meet the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 6. Downtown Magnets will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 64-51 non-league loss to Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, Los Angeles Leadership Academy moves to 9-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Maywood CES (Maywood, CA) to meet the Wolfpack in a non-league match on Friday, January 6. The Wolfpack enter the match with a record of 1-9. Maywood CES lost 67-56 in their recent non-league match against Dymally (Los Angeles, CA)
