California High School Basketball - Math & Science College Preparatory routs Downtown Magnets

In Friday's non-league outing, the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Downtown Magnets Suns (Los Angeles, CA), by a margin of 70-46.

The Sharks (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Compton, CA). The Apaches go into the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Centennial was trounced by Legacy (South Gate, CA), 54-38, in a non-league outing.

The Suns now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to USC-MAE for a Freeway bout on Monday, January 9. Downtown Magnets will play a Trojans squad coming off a 50-42 league win over Aspire Ollin (Huntington Park, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
