January 30, 2024: Amery, WI 54001 The Amery Warriors held off the visiting Osceola Chieftains basketball team by a tally of 61-56 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prescott for a Middle Border battle on Friday, February 2. Amery will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 64-53 league win over Altoona (Altoona, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-5.
The Chieftains (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Blackhawks come into the Middle Border battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Baldwin-Woodville was nudged by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI), 56-53, in a league battle.
