Wisconsin High School Basketball - Osceola nudges Ellsworth
February 8, 2024: Ellsworth, WI 54011 Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ellsworth Panthers (Ellsworth, WI), 39-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Osceola upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Chieftains travel to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-7. New Richmond lost 67-56 in their recent league bout against Hudson (Hudson, WI)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI) in a Middle Border bout, on Friday, February 16. Ellsworth will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 69-64 league win over Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI).
