Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Burgettstown overwhelms Bethlehem Center
January 30, 2024: Fredericktown, PA 15333 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Burgettstown Blue Devils (Burgettstown, PA) and the host Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA), saw Burgettstown's basketball squad wallop Bethlehem Center by a count of 65-32.
With the victory, Burgettstown upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA) to play the Rangers in a WPIAL 2A 4 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Fort Cherry won 85-56 in their recent league challenge against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Bentworth Bearcats (Bentleyville, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Bethlehem Center will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 59-44 league loss to Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA).
