The Blue Mountain Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Jim Thorpe Olympians to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pottsville for a Schuylkill County 1 contest on Friday, February 2. Blue Mountain will battle a Crimson Tide team coming off a 63-43 league win over Panther Valley (Lansford, PA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 15-5.
