Ohio High School Basketball - West Jefferson overwhelmed by Fairbanks
January 30, 2024: Milford Center, OH 43045 The Fairbanks Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting West Jefferson Roughriders to 11 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triad for a Ohio Heritage contest on Friday, February 2. Fairbanks will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 50-22 league loss to West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-13.
The Roughriders (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH). The Indians come into the Ohio Heritage contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Mechanicsburg was routed by Northeastern (Springfield, OH), 63-43, in a league contest.
