Michigan High School Basketball - Meridian thwarts Gladwin
January 30, 2024: Gladwin, MI 48624 The Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI) basketball knocked off the host Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI), 69-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Bluejays go into the Jack Pine test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Shepherd went down by Clare (Clare, MI), 56-44, in a league test.
The Flying G's now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clare for a Jack Pine test on Thursday, February 1. Gladwin will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 56-44 league win over Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-6.
