January 30, 2024: Lenorah, TX 79749 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) and the visiting Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), saw Grady's basketball squad overcome Loop by a tally of 62-45.
With the victory, Grady improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sands (Ackerly, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 16-9. Sands lost 43-35 in their recent league challenge against Klondike (Lamesa, TX)
Next up, the Longhorns confront the Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Loop will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 70-21 league loss to Sands (Ackerly, TX).
