Louisiana High School Basketball - Lafayette Christian Academy succumbs to New Iberia
January 30, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70507 The New Iberia Yellowjackets topped the host Lafayette Christian Academy Knights basketball team by a final score of 46-36 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) in a 5A District 3 game, on Friday, February 2. New Iberia will attempt to move on its 21-5 season record. The Golden Tors enter the game with a 13-14 record after their 43-40 league win over Carencro (Lafayette, LA).
With the defeat, Lafayette Christian Academy moves to 20-5 on the year. The Knights host David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A District 4 game on Friday, February 2.
