December 19, 2023: St. Martinville, LA 70582 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) and the host St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA), saw New Iberia's basketball squad wallop St. Martinville by a tally of 66-31.
With the victory, New Iberia improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Northwest (Opelousas, LA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Northwest won 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. St. Martinville will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 67-33 non-league loss to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA).
