The Trojans now possess a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corinth for a 5A Region 1 battle on Wednesday, January 31. New Hope will confront a Warriors team coming off a 56-54 league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 9-13.
The Warriors (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region 1 battle with a 7-16 record. In their last battle, Clarksdale was toppled by Lafayette (Oxford, MS), 55-50, in a league outing.
