Arizona High School Basketball - South Pointe tops West Phoenix

South Pointe Griffins (Phoenix, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Phoenix Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 62-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Pointe upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Fire in a Freelance bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Fire come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open won 74-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bella Vista Open (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Eagles play the Dream City Christian National (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. West Phoenix will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The come into the bout with a 25-13 record after their 67-50 non-league win over ASU Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
