South Dakota High School Basketball - Wakpala winner over Strasburg/Zeeland
January 30, 2024: Wakpala, SD 57658 The Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD) basketball felled the visiting Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND), 58-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Sioux (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Herreid/Selby was beaten by Lemmon (Lemmon, SD), 58-24, in a non-league test.
The Clippers now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock for a B District 2 test on Monday, February 5. Strasburg/Zeeland will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 76-56 non-league loss to Hazen (Hazen, ND). The Lions record now stands at 11-2.
