February 1, 2024: Herreid, SD 57632 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD) and the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), saw Wakpala's basketball squad overcome Herreid/Selby by a tally of 61-47.
With the victory, Wakpala improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Sioux travel to Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-12. Oelrichs lost 55-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux County (Harrison, NE)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Burke Cougars (Burke, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Herreid/Selby will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 71-65 league loss to Marty Indian (Marty, SD).
