Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD) and the visiting North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), saw Wakpala's basketball squad wallop North Central by a tally of 71-41.

With the victory, Wakpala improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Sioux host McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-5.
