California High School Basketball - Tustin holds off Valencia

January 30, 2024: Tustin, CA 92780

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) and the visiting Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA), saw Tustin's basketball squad hold off Valencia by a tally of 47-44.

With the victory, Tustin improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Tillers travel to Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA) to confront the Saints in a Empire challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 15-12. Crean Lutheran won 69-52 in their recent league challenge against Cypress (Cypress, CA)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) in a Empire challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Valencia will attempt to improve on its 10-17 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 8-18 record after their 50-28 league loss to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA).
