In Tuesday's league outing, the Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD) basketball squad beat the host Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD), by a count of 44-30.

The Patriots (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Gwynn Park defeated International High School at Largo (Largo, MD), 99-0, in a league outing.
