Minnesota High School Basketball - Kasson-Mantorville tops Pine Island
January 30, 2024: Kasson, MN 55944 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) and the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), saw Kasson-Mantorville's basketball team achieve victory over Pine Island by a tally of 64-45.
The Komets now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lourdes for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Kasson-Mantorville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 61-31 league win over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 15-4.
The Panthers (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets come into the AA Section 1 battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Randolph beat St. Charles (St. Charles, MN), 58-36, in a league battle.
