January 30, 2024: Topsham, ME 04086 In Tuesday's league outing, the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME), by a margin of 61-36.
The Eagles (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons go into the A South match with a 16-1 record. In their last match, Brunswick crushed Falmouth (Falmouth, ME), 60-37, in a league match.
With the defeat, Marshwood moves to 7-9 on the year. The Hawks host Westbrook (Westbrook, ME) to meet the Blue Blazes in a A South match on Thursday, February 1. The Blue Blazes enter the match with a record of 5-11. Westbrook lost 53-43 in their recent league match against Deering (Portland, ME)
