Alabama High School Basketball - Sheffield overwhelms Tharptown
January 30, 2024: Russellville, AL 35654 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) and the host Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), saw Sheffield's basketball squad wallop Tharptown by a count of 62-12.
With the victory, Sheffield upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Colbert County (Leighton, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Colbert County lost 55-41 in their recent non-league challenge against West Morgan (Trinity, AL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Colbert Heights Wildcats (Tuscumbia, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Tharptown will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record.
