Florida High School Basketball - West Port nudges Vanguard
January 30, 2024: Ocala, FL 34481 West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL), 57-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Port upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Wolf Pack host Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-1. Lecanto won 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL)
Next up, the Knights clash with the North Marion Colts (Citra, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Vanguard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Southland Christian (Kissimmee, FL).
