December 19, 2023: Ocala, FL 34475 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL) and the visiting West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL), saw Vanguard's basketball squad overcome West Port by a margin of 52-42.
The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Atlantic (Port Orange, FL). The Sharks go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Atlantic thwarted Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL), 60-49, in a non-league test.
The Wolf Pack now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host River Ridge for a non-league test on Thursday, December 21. West Port will encounter a Royal Knights squad coming off a 69-49 non-league loss to Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Royal Knights record now stands at 1-5.
