Illinois High School Basketball - Bartlett overwhelms Elgin
January 30, 2025: Elgin, IL 60120 The Bartlett Hawks basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Elgin Maroons to 23 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now possess a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Hinsdale Central for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Bartlett will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 65-54 non-league win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 21-2.
With the loss, Elgin falls to 2-22 on the campaign. The Maroons host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to confront the Blackhawks in a Upstate Eight - West game on Wednesday, February 5. The Blackhawks go into the game with a record of 15-8. West Aurora won 68-59 in their recent non-league game against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)
