California High School Basketball - Moreno Valley holds off Canyon Springs

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Moreno Valley Vikings basketball team scored a close 46-45 triumph over the Canyon Springs Cougars.

The Vikings (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Coyotes go into the Sunbelt contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Orange Vista nipped Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA), 65-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) in a Sunbelt contest, on Saturday, February 1. Canyon Springs will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Coyotes go into the contest with a 16-6 record after their 73-35 league win over Heritage (Menifee, CA).
