Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), 62-33 in a league match.

With the victory, Potomac School advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Panthers host Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC) to face the Cubs in a Independent School match on Friday, January 31. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 10-6. Georgetown Visitation Prep won 46-41 in their recent league match against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD)

The Mighty Hoppers now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foxcroft for a Greater Piedmont match on Saturday, February 1. Georgetown Day will face a squad coming off a 38-36 league win over Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The record now stands at 4-5.
