Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac School triumphant over Connelly School of the Holy Child
January 9, 2025: Potomac, MD 20854 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) and the host Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), observed Potomac School's basketball team overwhelm Connelly School of the Holy Child by a score of 73-31.
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers come into the DCSAA challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Georgetown Day was routed by Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC), 52-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the encounter the Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Connelly School of the Holy Child will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 79-35 non-league loss to Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA).
