January 30, 2025: New Providence, NJ 07924 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) and the visiting Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ), observed New Providence's basketball team knock off Plainfield by a score of 67-52.
The Pioneers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Highlanders come into the Union County - Valley challenge with a 3-4 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
