Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Rockwood trounced by North Star

North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA), 62-40 in a league match.

With the victory, North Star betters its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Cougars host Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league contest on Saturday, January 31. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 5-13. Blacklick Valley lost 48-45 in their recent non-league contest against Harmony Area (Westover, PA)

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) in a Inter County - West contest, on Monday, February 2. Rockwood will attempt to better on its 0-16 season record. The Mountaineers go into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 53-48 league win over Windber (Windber, PA).
