January 31, 2023: West Carrollton, OH 45449 The West Carrollton Pirates (West Carrollton, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH), 20-16 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Sidney (Sidney, OH). The Yellowjackets go into the Miami Valley - Valley test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Sidney was tipped by Troy (Troy, OH), 77-58, in a non-league test.
The Aviators now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fairborn for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Butler will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 54-36 league loss to Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH). The Skyhawks record now stands at 4-12.
