In Tuesday's league match, the host Portola Tigers basketball team scored a good 71-63 triumph over the Chester Volcanoes.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) in a Five Star match, on Friday, February 3. Portola will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 2-16 record after their 51-34 non-league loss to Surprise Valley (Cedarville, CA).
