Louisiana High School Basketball - Negreet holds off Converse
January 31, 2023: Converse, LA 71419 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) and the host Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA), saw Negreet's basketball squad hold off Converse by a tally of 45-44.
With the victory, Negreet improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Stanley (Logansport, LA) to battle the Panthers in a B District 3 contest on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 5-7.
The Wildcats (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Starks (Starks, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record.
