Maryland High School Basketball - Crossland overwhelmed by Oxon Hill
January 31, 2023: Temple Hills, MD 20748 The Oxon Hill Clippers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Crossland Cavaliers to 28 in the Clippers league victory on Tuesday.
The Clippers now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surrattsville for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Thursday, February 2. Oxon Hill will battle a Hornets team coming off a 73-56 league loss to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 4-11.
The Cavaliers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Wolverines come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Potomac triumphed over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD), 69-65, in a league contest.
